Freedom

I am not afraid of dying…..been there, done that. I am afraid of not living, of not being present in every moment. Actually, I have to say it is not even a fear, it is just that I am unwilling to sacrifice a single moment. I am unwilling to live the remainder of my life chained to convention, and to rules. I choose to be free. This does not mean living outside the law, or without principles, it means live outside the box.

Freedom is not no commitment, no responsibilities, no relationships. Freedom is no fear!! No fear of these things….or of death, suffering, heartache, of feeling pain.

Freedom is loving passionately no matter what the outcome…playing joyfully, in the moment…..living exuberantly-not as a pure adrenaline junkie taking extreme risks, rather zestfully without a safety net.

Marianne Williamson in her book “A Return to Love” stated that we are either in love or fear. I believe without fear we have the freedom to love. We have the freedom to truly live, and that is what I, for one, intend to do.
